Shipping and Returns


You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. Depending on where you live, the time it may take for your exchanged product to reach you may vary.

If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Shipping Costs and Delivery Schedules

We ship throughout Canada and to the Continental United States.  Please contact us for more details on international orders.  Please allow Sea Forest up to 2 business days to process and pack your order. Processing and delivery times do not include Saturdays, Sundays or holidays. Packages shipped to Canadian addresses do not require a signature for delivery.

*During Checkout you will see the total price, including taxes, shipping and handling charges, in Canadian dollars before you place your order. Your credit card will be charged in Canadian dollars according to the charges displayed during Checkout.

For standard shipping, there is a delivery charge of $6. Expedited shipping is $20 for orders over $75. Expedited shipping is $15 for orders under $75. For standard orders, your total order delivery time will take between 4-9 business days, depending on the final delivery destination. For expedited shipping, your total order delivery time will be between 1-3 business days (depending on the method of shipment and final delivery destination). Your shipping address must be in Canada.

Please note we cannot guarantee expedited delivery to P.O. Boxes, rural postal codes or Territories.

Once your order is shipped, you will receive an email notification with a tracking number. You can also view tracking information if you have a Sea Forest Account. Log in to My Account and select Order History & Tracking to find out the status of your order. Return Policy

If you’re unhappy with your purchase or wish to exchange for something different, please contact us within 14 days of purchase.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. It must also be in the original packaging. Several types of goods are exempt from being returned. Perishable goods such as frozen food cannot be returned.

To complete your return, we require a receipt or proof of purchase.

  • There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted (if applicable)
    Any item not in its original condition is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error
  • Any item that is returned more than 14 days after delivery
Refunds (if applicable) 

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund.

Refunds are also available if the product arrived to you damaged. Sea Forest Macro Algae, Ltd., is not responsible for perishable products after they have been marked as delivered. All perishable items must be refrigerated or frozen immediately after delivery to be considered for a refund.

Following approval, a credit will be automatically applied to your credit card or original method of payment, within 3-5 business days.

Late or missing refunds (if applicable)
